Prof. Dr. Torbjørn Netland

Torbjørn Netland is a Full Professor and Head of Production and Operations Management at ETH Zurich. He serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council and is a Fellow of the European Academy for Industrial Management. His award-winning research on manufacturing excellence is published in top journals. He co-authored Introduction to Manufacturing and co-founded EthonAI, a company transforming manufacturing with AI-driven analytics.

Leader Profile

Prof. Dr. Damian Borth

Damian is the Director of the Institute of Computer Science at the University of St. Gallen and a professor of AI and Machine Learning. He was the founding director of the Deep Learning Competence Center at DFKI and PI of the NVIDIA AI Lab. His research focuses on deep neural networks, earning awards like the Google Research Scholar Award. He completed postdoctoral work at UC Berkeley and holds a PhD from the University of Kaiserslautern.
