Prof. Dr. Torbjørn Netland

Torbjørn Netland is a Professor and Head of Production and Operations Management at ETH Zurich. He plays a key role on the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council and is a Fellow of the European Academy for Industrial Management. His award-winning research on manufacturing excellence is featured in top-tier journals. Netland is also the co-author of Introduction to Manufacturing and co-founded EthonAI, a company driving innovation in manufacturing with AI-powered analytics.

Prof. Dr. Damian Borth

Damian Borth is the Director of the Institute of Computer Science at the University of St. Gallen and a Professor of AI and Machine Learning. As the founding director of the Deep Learning Competence Center at DFKI and a Principal Investigator at the NVIDIA AI Lab, his impact on AI research is significant. His work on deep neural networks has earned prestigious recognitions, including the Google Research Scholar Award. Borth completed postdoctoral studies at UC Berkeley and holds a PhD from the University of Kaiserslautern, solidifying his leadership in AI.
