Professor Frank Piller

Frank Piller is the Professor of Management and the Head of the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management at RWTH Aachen University and previously held positions at MIT TU Munich. He is also the Academic Director of the Institute for Management Cybernetics and a world-renowned expert on strategies for customer-centric value creation, Leadership for Industry 4.0 and Managing a Digital Transformation. Frank frequently delivers training courses on achieving competitive advantage through innovation and technology and advises Global Fortune 500 companies such as LEGO, BMW, and Unilever.

Professor Tim Simpson

Tim Simpson is a Professor of Engineering Design & Manufacturing at Penn State University. He is also an Instructor for the MIT Professional Institute, co-director of the Center for Innovative Materials Processing through Direct Digital Deposition (CIMP-3D), and System Design Innovator at NASA. Tim Simpson has trained more than 700 professionals in additive manufacturing, and has been working with numerous Global Fortune 500 companies to improve their product platforming practices and guide future platform efforts.
